Come Rain, Come Shine...The 2024 Rybacki Memorial Tournament Raises Record Funds for Breast Cancer Research

We were hoping for sunshine and the weather didn’t disappoint. After last year’s washout weather, everyone was fired up to renew friendships and old rivalries. Around 144 players, largely from the waterworks industry, showed up to support the 2024 Rybacki Memorial Tournament. This year we raised $155,000 to support Breast Cancer research programs at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. Breast Cancer is the leading type of cancer in women worldwide. Many of those in attendance had stories to share of friends and family members who had battled this disease.

Shout out to everyone who played. We welcomed several new faces and reconnected with friends and partners too numerous to mention. Shout out to the Rybacki family members, although we were alarmed to discover our daughter and her BFF won one of the Divisions. How did that happen?

Kudos to the Haven Country Club for putting on such a great event. Chris, Cindy and I will be visiting Dana-Farber to present a sizeable check to Dr Sara Tolaney, thanks to the waterworks industry’s generosity.
