SIGMA Denver Location Now a Full-Service Operation

When SIGMA Denver opened in 2019, it functioned as a satellite facility run out of the Chicago Midwest Regional Office. The plan was always for Denver to become a full-service SIGMA operation, but the growth has been so rapid in the Colorado and Wyoming markets that the goal is now being achieved.  

As part of the conversion from satellite to full-service operation, Bailey Root has been promoted to Inside Sales Rep for Colorado and Wyoming. Bailey began as a warehouse associate when the office opened, and over the past several years has worked to learn the product line and expand his role. Midwest Branch Manager Charlie Kyle explains: “When the need arose for an ISR in Denver, Bailey was an obvious choice. He knows our operation from the ground up since he was here when we opened. He is a perfect fit for a sales job because he is so familiar with the products and their applications. Bailey had a desire to pursue greater opportunity with SIGMA and we were pleased to offer him this promotion. The growth of the Denver office has been really strong, so it will be an asset to have someone in this position who can hit the ground running.”  

Bailey adds his perspective:  “The growth in this market has been exponential. We have begun to realize the potential and are planning accordingly. Currently, we are putting a huge inventory in place to meet the demand of the local customer base.
